Getting to Know Australia
Dear friends, it is been a long time since we last met here but please, do not believe that we have been idle all these months. On the contrary, we have been working hard in our common project. This time, it will be devoted to Australia. Hopefully, you will able to learn a few things about its history, culture, traditions, nature, sports, music and art, and even to travel around in a virtual way. See you soon!

Poetry
April Poetry Reading
April is the perfect month for celebrating reading, although we'd rather celebrate it all year long. The 21st and the 23rd of April are the Poetry and Book World Days respectively. On this occasion, the Heads of the Language Departments thought it would be a good idea to hold a multilingual poetry reading.
So, we got down to work. First thing to do: find out how many languages we could include in the reading. A quick survey revealed that, surprisingly enough, students and teachers altogether could be able to read poems in eight languages: Spanish, French, Italian, English, Latin, Greek, Arabic and sign language!
